Nets Offer Anthony Morrow a Contract

by Tanner on July 9, 2010

The Nets have offered Morrow, a restricted free agent, a 3 year/ $12 million deal. The Warriors have a week to match.

Should they?

Morrow has proven that he is one of the better shooters in the league, with a 47%/46%/88% shooting line over his first two seasons. He’s also proven that he can’t do much else. He’s a poor defender and not much of a creator.

For a team that’s going to struggle to make the playoffs like the Warriors, $4 million is a lot to pay for a one-dimensional bench player.

As much as I like Morrow, I think the Warriors have to let him go.
